How quickly can you respond to a commercial plumbing emergency?
Reactive call-outs are dispatched to the nearest Avero FM Approved plumber as soon as the job is logged. For most UK locations we aim for attendance within 2 to 4 hours for emergencies (active leaks, no water, drainage flooding). You can see the engineer en route and the live status of the job in Avero FM Works.
What does a Legionella risk assessment involve?
A Legionella risk assessment is a formal inspection of your hot and cold water systems against the L8 Approved Code of Practice and HSG 274 guidance. We identify where bacteria could grow, check temperatures, review flushing regimes, and produce a written assessment plus a control scheme. Reassessments are typically annual, or sooner if the system or use changes.
Do you cover both residential and commercial plumbing?
Yes. Avero coordinates plumbing across single rental flats, residential blocks (including Build-to-Rent), commercial offices, retail, hospitality and industrial. The Avero FM Approved network includes contractors suited to each type, dispatched based on the job specifics.
What plumbing standards do your contractors work to?
Avero FM Approved plumbers work to WRAS for water fittings, L8 ACoP and HSG 274 for Legionella, and BS 8558 for building services design. Where gas appliances are involved, work is carried out by Gas Safe registered contractors in our network. Every job is documented and signed off in Avero FM Works.
Can you handle planned preventative maintenance for plumbing systems?
Yes. We build PPM schedules from your asset register: tap and fixture checks, water heater servicing, pump inspections, Legionella temperature monitoring, drainage flushing. Jobs are auto-created, dispatched and certified. Compliance evidence is stored against the property.
